Terms of Service

Welcome to The Landchester Construction & Builders (“Landchester”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your interactions with us regarding construction, building, renovation, development, design coordination, consultation, and related services in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation, booking a consultation, or engaging Landchester for services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website or submit information through it.

2. Our Services

Landchester provides construction and building services that may include residential construction, commercial and institutional projects, renovation, extensions, interiors, project coordination, design support, estimation, and related site services. The exact scope of work will be described in a separate quotation, work order, proposal, agreement, or other written document accepted by both parties.

3. Enquiries, Quotations, and Project Scope

Information on this website is general and is not a final quotation, promise of completion, or binding scope of work. Estimates and timelines may change after site inspection, measurements, soil conditions, design development, authority requirements, material selection, market conditions, or changes requested by the client. A project becomes binding only when the applicable written proposal or agreement is accepted by both parties.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about the site, ownership or authorisation, access, intended use, existing structures, and project requirements. Clients must provide timely decisions, approvals, documents, access to the site, and any information reasonably required for the work. Delays caused by missing information, late decisions, restricted access, or third-party actions may affect the project schedule and cost.

5. Approvals, Permissions, and Site Conditions

Construction may require approvals, permissions, surveys, structural reviews, utility coordination, or other requirements from relevant authorities and professionals. Unless the written project agreement expressly says otherwise, the client remains responsible for providing accurate ownership and site documents and for paying applicable government, statutory, consultant, testing, connection, or approval charges. Landchester will coordinate agreed responsibilities in good faith but cannot guarantee the decision or processing time of an authority or third party.

6. Pricing, Payments, and Changes

Prices, taxes, inclusions, exclusions, payment milestones, retention, and other commercial terms will be set out in the applicable written project document. Additional work, substitutions, variations, or revisions requested by the client may require a written change approval and may affect the price and completion date. Work may be paused when agreed payments are overdue or when a required client decision or approval has not been provided.

7. Timelines and Unavoidable Delays

Any timeline we provide is an estimate unless the written project agreement expressly states otherwise. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, material or labour shortages, transport disruption, strikes, changes in law, authority delays, utility restrictions, public emergencies, or acts of nature. We will communicate material delays and work with the client on a reasonable revised plan.

8. Materials, Workmanship, and Handover

Materials and finishes will be selected according to the approved scope, specifications, samples, and availability. Natural variations, batch differences, and reasonable construction tolerances may occur. At handover, the client should inspect the completed work and record any agreed snagging items or outstanding work. Any warranty, defect correction, maintenance, or handover obligations will be governed by the applicable written project agreement and applicable law.
